In running my companies, I am aware that it is not only a pleasure and privilege, but also a responsibility, so CSR and philanthropy are extremely important to me. My wife and I have been actively involved in community and educational initiatives for many years, resulting in the foundation we established in 2019, the Czepczyński Family Foundation.
Foundation activities /
The primary goal of the Czepczyński Family Foundation is to support the development and education of students (as well as education staff) through educational and research activities, organization of classes, workshops and trainings. The Foundation’s team consists of experts in such fields as: preschool and early childhood education, Polish and English philology, oligofrenopedagogy, developmental therapy and early childhood development support.
The Foundation’s flagship educational projects are “The ABC of Economics” and “The ABC of Empathy,” which are targeted at preschoolers and early elementary school students (grades I-III).
The ABC of Economics /
“The ABC of Economics” project educates the youngest in the basics of finance, economics and entrepreneurship. Together with the main characters of the book, Zosia and Maks, children learn where money comes from, what work is and why it is worth saving money.
The project includes ready-made lesson plans, student worksheets and infographics, as well as electronic materials (which can be used for remote or home education). All the tools are based on the book “ABC of Economics, or first steps in the world of finance” by Wiktor Czepczyński and Żaneta Kupczyk. The book consists of 12 chapters, and each chapter presents a different topic in the area of finance.
The ABC of Empathy /
One of the foundation’s primary goals is to eliminate barriers and stereotypes associated with people with disabilities. A key project in this area is the “ABC of Empathy,” which teaches the youngest children tolerance and understanding, especially towards their peers.
The project is based on the book “ABC of Empathy, for we are all the same” by Wiktor Czepczyński, Żaneta Kupczyk and Katarzyna Muzyka-Jacheć, which explains in children’s language what various disabilities and illnesses are about, as well as the differences associated with them in everyday life.
As part of its “1000/100” strategy, the Czepczyński Family Foundation plans to use its funds to equip educational institutions in 1000 municipalities and 100 children’s hospitals in Poland with the “ABC of Empathy” project.
The “ABC of Economics” and “ABC of Empathy” projects have received honorary patronage of Rotary Poland and UNICEF Poland.
